Personal Injury Liability

Personal Injury Liability is now excluded from a standard HO3 homeowners policy and can be added back by endorsement. Personal Injury Liability is included in the expanded HE7-21 Homeowners form.

Personal Injury is defined in insurance as:

  1. False arrest, Detention or Imprisonment.
  2. Malicious prosecution
  3. Libel, Slander, or Defamation of Character
  4. Invasion of Privacy, Wrongful Eviction or Wrongful Entry
